Gambling Dividends: GBN Hands over N$15 million to the Government
GAMBLING DIVIDENDS: Minister Indileni Daniel on Wednesday joined her Finance counterpart Ericah Shafudah to witness the handover of N$15 million dividends from the Gambling Board of Namibia to the government as a shareholder for the 2025-2026 financial year. Minister Daniel commended the Board for the good financial performance.
The Gambling Board of Namibia carries the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism’s delegated function to regulate, license and monitor the gambling industry in Namibia. Gambling Board’s Chairperson Ben Shikongo, Deputy Executive Director Colgar Sikopo, Board’s acting Chief Executive John Erastus and other senior officials from both Environment and Finance ministries witnessed the handover in Windhoek.
